Immediately following the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School, we sent a box of forty books to Newtown, CT, in hopes that In This Moment...the little book of emotions could assist in healing the emotions of those affected. We were deeply touched by the comments of Julie Shull, a teacher in Newtown, as she shared how our book has assisted her in finding strength and healing in the days and weeks following this sad event.
"I am a resident of Sandy Hook and a Newtown teacher. After the recent tragedy that rocked our community to its core, I searched for support and healing. As I often have in the past, I drove to the Berkshires and made my way to Kripalu to the bookstore where I found your book, In This Moment...the little book of emotions. It has been such a source of inspiration and strength to me, my family and my fellow teachers. My husband jokingly referred to it is my "magic eight ball" since it seemed to provide just the right words needed in any particular moment. "
